Job Description

We are seeking an All-round individual for an entry to intermediate level role in a packaging distribution company based in East Tamaki operating nationwide, to assist the General Manager oversee distribution operations & support the warehouse staff as required. You must be versatile to be part of a small, yet dynamic team involved in operations management, general administrative tasks & be willing to support business requirements in the warehouse to assist with Inward container unloading & outbound deliveries.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic hardworking, & passionate with a willingness & ability to work efficiently in a small business environment & be versatile to handle multiple roles & assist the General Manager in a variety of areas within the business within formulated budgets.

The responsibilities also include implementing formulated strategy, managing people and establishing policies & implement decisions taken by the General Manager & being productive, while ensuring profits are on the rise, ultimately, helping the company to grow and thrive.

Responsibilities include:
· Order processing, organizing dispatch & overseeing general operations.
· Control budgets and optimize expenses
· Oversee day-to-day operations
· Follow Set Goals & designed strategy for business development
· Set policies and processes
· Ensure productively and develop professionally
· Monitor & improve operations and financial performance
· Prepare regular reports for management
· Ensure all compliance & health and safety regulations are followed
· Support with Container devanning
· Customer deliveries when required
· Provide solutions to operating issues

· Fork hoist license (preferred not essential)
· Full Driver license (Manual preferred but not essential)

· Hours Monday to Friday between 9am & 3.30pm - 30 daytime hours a week,
· Pay rate between $24 - $27 per hour depending on experience.
· Close-knit, small team with opportunities for growth.
