We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the BIM process for various projects, ensuring that all BIM-related activities are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Implementation and Management:

Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes on assigned projects.
Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
Model Coordination:

Coordinate and manage the creation, modification, and integration of BIM models from various disciplines.
Conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related inquiries and issues.
Quality Assurance and Control:

Perform quality checks on BIM models to ensure they meet project standards and specifications.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, company protocols, and best practices in BIM management.
Training and Support:

Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and processes.
Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for BIM-related activities.
Software and Technology Management:

Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM software and technologies, and recommend improvements as necessary.
Manage software licenses and ensure that the project team has access to the required BIM tools.
Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain BIM documentation, including model progress reports, clash detection reports, and other project-related documentation.
Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on the status of BIM activities and deliverables.
Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve BIM-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Proactively address potential problems and provide innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in BIM coordination and management on construction projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
Experience with advanced BIM tools and technologies (e.g., Dynamo, BIM 360).
Knowledge of construction processes and project management principles.
Salary:
150.000,00 NZD Annual
