Job Description

This role is physically demanding and requires long hours, but it offers the opportunity to work outdoors with animals and contribute to a vital part of the agricultural industry. As a dairy farm worker with a focus on milking, you'll play a key role in ensuring the cows are milked efficiently, safely, and hygienically to produce high-quality milk.

Responsibilities:

Milking cows using milking machines, following proper procedures to ensure cow comfort and milk quality.
Preparing the milking parlor for each session, including cleaning and setting up equipment.
Monitoring cow health before and during milking, and reporting any signs of illness or injury.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment following farm safety protocols.
May assist with other farm tasks such as feeding cows, cleaning stalls, and assisting with calf care (depending on the farm).
Qualifications:

No prior experience may be necessary for some entry-level positions, but willingness to learn is essential.
Experience working with animals is a plus.
Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
