As a pet groomer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of our furry friends. Your responsibilities will include bathing, conditioning, drying dog hair or fur, clipping nails, cleaning the ears, and other general cosmetic services.

Pet Groomer Duties & Responsibilities:
*Bathing and drying
*Grooming, styling, cutting, and
*shaving and de-knot the fur or hair
*Clipping the nails, cleaning the
*teeth and ears and emptying
*the dog's anal glands
*Consult with pet owners about their requirement
*Using suitable and necessary products
*Ability to recognise possible health or skin issues and advise owners and customers regarding their pets.
*Helping nervous or aggressive animals relax.
*Selling the products
*Scheduling appointments, making records
*Clean, inspect and maintain the salon and cages

Pet Groomer Requirements:
*Preferably previous professional experience
*Having a Dog Grooming or Pet Grooming certificate is a plus!
*Animal handling skills, animal grooming skills
*Knowledge of various animal diseases
*Meeting owner's expectations on special requests
*Ability to work with different tools and equipment and use suitable products/tools for a particular canine.
*Ability to lift and handle sometimes heavy animals
*Excellent communication and customer service skills

**Working Conditions: You will work in a noisy grooming area with a strong odour. The position may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy pets.
