Job Description
AthleTech is a pioneering fitness industry marketing agency that helps fitness professionals grow their businesses by handling marketing, lead generation, and custom content creation. We provide tools and support that allow personal trainers, gym owners, and fitness coaches to focus on what they do best while we handle the rest.
Position Overview:
As the Business Development & Sales Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in AthleTech's growth by driving new business and building strong relationships with fitness professionals and businesses. You'll manage cold calling and emailing to reach new clients and engage in B2B communications that open doors to new partnerships. Additionally, you'll support the founder by handling key tasks when they are away, ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Outreach: Conduct cold calling and emailing campaigns to identify, engage, and convert potential clients.
B2B Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with gym owners, personal trainers, and other fitness industry professionals.
Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for inquiries and follow-ups, maintaining a professional and personable approach to communications.
Market Research: Keep up with industry trends and competition to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
Founder Support: Handle assigned tasks when the founder is unavailable, such as responding to high-priority messages, managing daily operations, and supporting the team.
Administrative Duties: Manage CRM updates, track outreach progress, and prepare regular reports on sales activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, B2B communications, or a similar role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
Experience with CRM software and email marketing tools is a plus
A genuine passion for the fitness industry and helping businesses grow
