Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Technician

• This is a full-time, on-site position for a highly motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Technician based in Christchurch. The role encompasses maintaining, repairing, and installing various refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and thermodynamic hot water systems.
• You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Your responsibilities include completing all servicing tasks in accordance with company and client specifications in a timely manner.
• You will be required to be part of an on-call roster.
• We require you to be punctual and work the hours specified.
• You will need to provide accurate written documentation of the work performed, including timesheets, service and maintenance reports, commissioning data, and health & safety checks, as required by the company and clients.
• It is essential to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• You must ensure that all necessary safety equipment is available and utilized properly.
• You are expected to operate in alignment with the company's core values at all times.
• Lastly, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance, as well as the presentation of your vehicle and workspace, is a must.

Skills, Experience and Education.
• Relevant certification or diploma in HVAC or related field
• Experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC & Refrigeration systems
• Current fillers & handlers licence
• Current EST qualification
• Valid class 1 NZ drivers licence compulsary.
• Must be NZ resident
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
