Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced part- time Accounts Assistant to join their small family friendly team. This role is 20 hours per week. This role would be perfect for a new mum or just part time work.

Main responsibilities:

Accounts receivable and payable
Credit collection
Intermediate Excel and Word processing skills
Customer Service protocols
Continuous Improvement strategies and processes
Procurement and contractual interpretation
Customer support management
Skills/Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience as an accounts officer or similar role
Attention to detail with exceptional accuracy with financial data
Proficiencies in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and customer service experience
Relevant accounting qualification or certification is preferred
Preferable Xero knowledge
Accounts Receivable/Payable Experience
Ability to follow up and ensure payment for controlling debt.
Knowledge of NZQA and TEC would be desirable
