Tutor

We are currently looking for a dedicated and honest person within Christchurch area, who can provide consistent and effective support to our team.
This may suit someone from an educational background with suitable qualifications and/or experience in the seafood industry and an understanding of assessment process (4098) is an advantage.
Tutors must have the right personality that supports empathy, compassion and encouragement for our learners.
The role will require a confident person that enjoys travelling and meeting people, with the necessary skills and attitude to meet our daily requirements.
The successful candidate will work alongside co-workers and will need to support the learners from other cultures and backgrounds.

• Honest
• A great listener and follow instructions well
• Able to assess needs and adjust teaching style accordingly
• Punctual, reliable and respectful of time and commitments
• Good level of fitness
• Work co-operatively and positively with management and other staff
• Be motivated and willing to learn, open to constructive feedback
• Certificate in adult teaching

Preferred qualifications
• Certificate in Adult Teaching and/or 4098
• Full NZ Driver License
Weekly travel within NZ is required Monday – Thursday with 3 nights stayover.
